4Press the shutter button (d) halfway to focus the camera and measure the light level. The camera is ready to take a photo when the green LED indicator lights (e). Press the shutter button all the way down to take the photo.
The red Wait indicator light (f) is on and the image displays on the LCD. Wait until the light is off before you take another photo.
If the Quick Review setting is on, you can review and delete an image immediately after you take it (see “Advanced Menu” on page 19).
Tips for Great Photos
Here are some tips to help you take better photos!
•Keep the sun behind you or at your side. Avoid having the sun directly overhead or in front of you.
•Use the fill flash setting if there is light behind your subject or if your subject is strongly illuminated from the side.
