Turning the Camera On and Off

Press the power button once to turn the camera on. Press it again to turn the camera off.

Checking the battery level

Power Button

Check the battery power level before taking pictures.

1.Turn the camera on.

2.Check the battery status level that appears on the camera LCD screen

Full battery power.

Medium battery power.

Low battery power. Need to replace the batteries. If not replaced with new battery, a beeping sound is heard (with rear LED flickering). A warning “Batteries Depleted Camera is shutting down” will appear on the LCD screen.

NOTE:

To save battery life, always turn the LCD off.

• Automatic Power Off Saves Battery

The LCD screen turns off automatically after 60 seconds of inactivity and the camera turns off automatically after 90 seconds of inactivity to save battery life.
