The options in this menu control the sound settings listed below.

The Setup Menu

Option		Description
	Control the sound	played when buttons are
	pressed.		BUTTON SOUND
Button sound	A different sound is played when an error		Off
	occurs or when you turn the camera, select a

	back mode or make a selection from menus.
	There are three shutter sounds to choose from.

	Adjust volume of voice memos, movies, and shut-
	ter and start-up sounds. Choose volume for built-		Volume
Volume	in speaker from Loud and Normal. Choosing Off		Loud
	mutes, shutter and	start-up sounds, and plays	Normal
	voice memos and movies at lowest volume.		Off

Shutter sound

Regardless of setting chosen, no sound is played when j (Sports Assist) is selected in assist modes (Q 28), Continuous settings other than Single (Q 68) is set, or BSS is on (Q 69).
