Disconnecting

Windows systems:

•Click the hardware removal icon..

•Click to select the “Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device” option that appears..

•When the message “Safe to Remove Hardware” displays on-screen, you can safely remove your hard disk..

•Unplug the scanner from your computer..

Macintosh systems:

•Click and drag the hard disk icon to Trash..

•Disconnect the scanner from your computer..
