Basic Functions

Turning the Power ON / OFF

(Language) and press the SET but- ton.

The Language menu may appear differently on cameras in some regions.

The Language menu can also be displayed in replay mode by holding down the SET button and pressing the MENU button.

Using the Soft Case (Optional)

Use the soft case for storing the camera, batteries and CF card.

Shooting Mode

1 Open the lens cover.

The camera powers up in Shooting mode (still). Close the lens cover.

The power goes off.

Replay Mode

1 Press the button until the image is displayed on the LCD monitor.

The camera powers up in Replay mode.

4 Set the language.

Press , , or button to select the language.

5 Press the SET button.

Pressing the MENU button without pressing the SET button returns to the Set up Menu without changing the language settings.

6 Press the MENU button.
