FRAME

You can select the size of the picture to be recorded.

 

There are three settings:

 

2032 x 1536 (QXGA class)

 

1024 x 768 (XGA)

 

 

640 x 480 (VGA)

 

 

 

QUALITY

You can select the quality of the picture to be recorded.

 

There are three settings:

 

FINE:

 

The highest picture quality.

 

STANDARD:

The normal picture quality.

 

NO COMP.:

 

TIFF format data that is not compressed.

 

 

BEEP VOL.

You can adjust the tone of the warning beep.

 

There are three settings:

 

HIGH:

The high tone.

 

LOW:

The low tone.

 

OFF:

No beeps.

 

 

 

 

Q. REVIEW

ON/OFF:

When “ON”, pictures that you take with the camera are dis-

 

 

played after shooting on the LCD screen for about 2 seconds.

 

 

 

FORMAT

EXE:

Formats a Memory card. (pg. 23)

 

 

 

DATE/TIME

EXE:

Sets the camera’s internal clock. (pg. 66)

 

 

 

 

NOTES:

This camera has the power save function. The camera goes in the power save mode after 3 minutes of no activity. Within 7 minutes after the camera enters the power save mode, power can be restored by pressing any of the button on the camera.

After 7 minutes has elapsed, the camera shuts off the power automatically. To turn the camera on again, turn the Power dial to “OFF” first and then to “A”, “M”, “V” or “B”.

To immediately view images that you have shot, set “Q. REVIEW” to “ON”.
