FEATURE: Quick Review (for scenes recorded onto a tape)

PURPOSE:

To check the end of the last recording.

OPERATION:

1)Set the System Select Switch to “VIDEO”, then set the Power Switch to “CAMERA” (“AUTO” or “PRO.”).

2)Press 2 and release quickly during the Record– Standby mode.

Tape is rewound for approx. 2 seconds and played back automatically, then pauses in Record–Standby mode for the next shot.

NOTE:

Distortion may occur at the start of playback. This is normal.

FEATURE: Quick Review (for still images stored in the built-in memory)

PURPOSE:

To check the still image most recently stored in the built-in memory.

OPERATION:

1)Set the System Select Switch to “D.S.C.”, then set the Power Switch to “CAMERA” (“AUTO” or “PRO.”).

2)Press 2and release quickly.

The still image is displayed for approx. 3 seconds. The message “DELETE OK? PRESS PLAY BUTTON” appears.

To remove the still image you have checked (Instant Delete) . . .

1)Press 4/6. The still image is deleted. To cancel, press 5.

FEATURE: Retake

PURPOSE:

To re-record certain segments.

OPERATION:

1)Make sure the camcorder is in the Record–Standby mode.

2)Press and hold either RETAKE to reach the start point for new recording. Pressing 3forwards the tape and pressing 2 reverses it.

3)Press the Recording Start/Stop Button to start recording.

NOTE:

Noise bars appear and pictures may become monochrome or darken during Retake. This is normal.
