Introduction

WH-C Centre Loudspeaker

The Wharfedale WH-C centre speaker is a dedicated centre channel unit designed for mounting preferably above a TV screen (as show is position A) or below a TV screen (as show in postion B). If the unit is mounted on top of the television, move it forward so that the front grilles are level with or slightly in front of the screen. This will reduce reflections from the screen and the top of the cabinet. The loudspeaker should be located on a stable flat surface to avoid any danger of movement when it is vibrated by high sound levels.

The speaker is supplied with four self-adhesive feet. Apply one to each bottom corner of the unit before mounting.

CONNECTION

You will need a single length of twin core cable. Connect the red (+) terminal of the centre unit to the red (+) terminal of the amplifiers centre channel output. Connect the black (-) terminal of the centre unit to the corresponding black (-) terminal of the amplifier. The connection panel uses screw terminals - the drawing below illustrates the connection method.

Centre Speaker Positioning

Leaving a stub of 5mm protruding from the wall. Align the hole in the mounting bracket over the screw head and carefully lower the unit onto the screw. The speaker should now be securely attached with the feet against the wall. Now connect the speakers to the amplifier.
