Rating setting

1Select “SYSTEM SET UP” on the Set up menu screen (see steps 1 - 6 on page 23).

2Before setting “RATING”, ensure password is unlocked “ ”. The “RATING” level cannot be set if the password is locked “ ”.

3After selecting “RATING” in steps 1 - 6 on page 23, select the rating level and press the ENTER button to confirm.

4After entering rating level, select “PASSWORD” to lock the password key.

5Enter a 4-digit password using the Direct Search buttons and press the ENTER button.

*If this is the first time, enter “0000” as factory default password.

Only DVD software intended for children can be

2G to 7 NC-17

Only DVD software intended for general use and

 

children can be played back.

 

 

8 ADULT

DVD software of any grade (adult/general/

 

children) can be played back.

*Level 8: for most restrictive viewing ===> Level 1: for general audiences viewing.

The smaller the number, the greater the level of restriction.

Note:

Whilst playing a disc with parental lock, the display may appear requesting a password in order to watch some restricted scenes. In such case, enter the password to temporarily change the parental level.

Password setting

From the set up menu, select “SYSTEM SET UP”, “PASSWORD” and choose “----- ”.

1When setting the password for the first time, enter the

factory default password by pressing “0000”. The “ ” will be unlocked.

2Enter your new password (maximum 4-digits) using the Direct Search buttons and press ENTER button to return. The “ ” will be locked.

3Enter again the same new password and press ENTER button to return. The “ ” will be unlocked.

4To change to another password, repeat steps 2 - 3.

5Exit set up.

Note:

If you forget your password, cancel the current password by pressing “0000” using the Direct Search buttons.
