•As soon as the time is entered, the timer starts to count down.

•Five minutes before the preset length of time expires (in the example, after two hours and 25 minutes) and each minute thereafter, the remaining time appears on the screen for several seconds.
•A flashing display of the remaining time appears during the last few seconds.
•When the preset length of time has passed, the TV set enters the Standby mode.
