Switching on and off

The only way to disconnect the hi-fi system from the mains supply is to pull out the plug.

1Switch on the hi-fi system from standby mode by pressing »8«.

– The last input source used is automatically selected.

2Switch the hi-fi system to standby mode by pressing »8«.

– Display: the current time.

Selecting the input source

1Select the input source (TUNER, CD, TAPE, AUX I or AUX 2) with »FUNCTION« on the remote control.

– Display: »TUNER«, »READING«, »TAPE«, »AUX I« or »AUX 2«.

Note:

All the input sources except AUX can be selected with »TUNER BAND« (TUNER), »DISC eII« (CD) or »TAPE « on the hi-fi system.

Adjusting the volume

1Adjust the volume with »ß +« on the hi-fi system or »+« and »« on the remote control.

– Display: briefly »VOL« (from »MIN«, »I« to »31«, above »MAX«).

Selecting sound settings

You can choose between the preset sound settings FLAT, CLASSIC, POP, JAZZ, ROCK and FLAT again.

1Select the sound setting using »DSC«.

– Display: »FLAT«, »CLASSIC«, »POP«, »JAZZ« or »ROCK«.
