Rotate it clockwise to increase the volume level; rotate anticlockwise to decrease the volume level.
Press it repeatedly to select the mode: VOL => BAS => TRE => BAL => FAD => LOUD => LOC => ST => EQ. Rotate VOL knob to adjust each mode.
