￿Open the cassette cover (￿ Page 34) and insert a cassette (￿ Page 34).

￿Call up the Tape main menu (￿ Page 35).

Opening cassette cover

The cassette cover (￿ Page 11) must be open in order to insert a cassette. After in- serting a cassette, you should close the cover again.

The cassette cover opens.

If a cassette has already been inserted, the Audio 50 ejects it.

If the cassette cover remains open for more than 30 seconds, a signal tone briefly sounds.

When the cassette cover is open, you cannot eject the CD changer* (￿ Page 40) or open the storage com- partment in the center console.

￿Push down at the mark on the cassette cover (￿ Page 11) until it latches in.

Only insert a cassette into the Audio 50 when the vehicle is at a standstill. If attempt- ed during driving, the distraction from the traffic situation leads to increased danger of accidents.

We recommend that you do not use cassettes with a playing time of

120 minutes (120).

￿Open the cassette cover (￿ Page 34).

￿Push the cassette into the cassette slot until it engages, then press it lightly.

The Audio 50 will pull the cassette into place and begins to play side 1. The Tape main menu is displayed.
