The AVH-P6500DVD DVD AV headunit is a fully featured 1-DIN car stereo with built-in AV Master, DVD player, a fully motorised 6.5-inch touch panel display and powerful audio features. The ultra-slim built-in DVD/CD/MP3 player is compatible with all the latest digitally encoded discs: DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, VideoCD, CD-R/RW and MP3. High quality audio is guaranteed thanks to the MOSFET50 amplifier and the Hi-Volt pre-outs which enable external amplifiers to be easily connected, while the Dual Zone function allows front passengers to listen to an AM/FM tuner, DAB tuner or multi-CD player, while rear passengers enjoy a separate AV source in the back. The high-quality touch panel display with easy-to-understand GUI (Graphical User Interface) ensures fast and easy operation of audio/video functions, as well as navigation.

The AVH-P6500DVD has been especially designed for use with Pioneer’s updated DVD Cyber Navi units. When used together, users can benefit from enhanced navigation software features and navigation control is done using the AV headunit’s touch panel display.

For that extra convenient touch: when the AVH-P6500’s motorised display is closed, the 10-character sub-display shows the audio/video status.

®6500DVD. Pioneer suggests youfunction of the AVH-P7500/

combine your AV headunit with the AVR-W6100 flip-down roof-mounted display, the headrest-mounted AVD-W6200, or the huge 8-inch AVD-W8000. When 2 AVD-W6200 rear screens are used, rear seat passengers can each control their AV source with the CD-VS33 AV Selector.

❚Fully Motorised Touch Panel Display with 10-Character Sub-display

Pioneer has developed a new motorised mechanism for touch panel display operation. The LCD display automatically retracts into the unit when not in use. Moreover, the angle is continuously adjustable from 50 to 110 degrees, allowing it to be positioned for optimum viewing. When opened, it will automatically return to the last set angle and display position. When the display is closed, the user can check the basic audio/video status on the 10-character sub-display.
