■Connectivity
General packet radio service (GPRS) is a network service that allows mobile phones to be used for sending and receiving data over an Internet Protocol
The applications that may use GPRS are MMS, browsing, and Java application downloading.
Before you can use GPRS technology, contact your network operator or service provider for availability of and subscription to the GPRS service. Save the GPRS settings for each of the applications used over GPRS. For information on pricing, contact your network operator or service provider.
Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Packet data > Packet data connection to establish an GPRS connection.
To set the phone to automatically register to an GPRS network when you switch on the phone, select Always online.
To set the phone to register to an GPRS network and establish a connection when an application needs it, and end the connection when you end the application, select When needed.
