1. Get started

Insert a (U)SIM card and battery

Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery.

This phone uses BP-5M batteries.

For availability and information on using SIM card services, contact your SIM card vendor. This may be the service provider or other vendor.

1.To open the back cover of the phone for the first time, lift it using the plastic strip shown on the back of the phone (1). You can then remove the strip.

To open the back cover later, turn the lower part of the phone 90 degrees left or right when the number keys of the lower part are on the same side as the display, and lift the back cover (2). To remove the battery, lift it as shown (3).

2.To release the SIM card holder, slide it backwards (4), and lift it (5).

Insert the (U)SIM card to the SIM card holder (6). Make sure that the (U)SIM card is properly inserted and that the golden-colored contact area on the card is facing downwards, and the beveled corner faces upwards.
