Switch on / off the phone

1.Press to switch on the phone (long press the key if the battery is charging).

2.To prevent unauthorised use of your SIM card, you can set a security code (PIN code), which will be requested at switch on.

3.Enter your PIN code. If you make a mistake,

press . Then confirm by pressing .

If you enter a wrong PIN code 3 times, your SIM card is blocked. To unblock it, you must request the PUK code from your operator.

4.Long press to switch off your phone.

Make and answer calls

Answer a call

To answer a call, open the flip and press

or

[Accept].

 

To pick up a call by simply opening the flip, the option in Settings > Call settings > Active flip must be set to On.

Reject a call

Open the flip and press to reject the call.

The option in Settings > Call settings > Active flip must be Off in this case. If On, you can not reject calls.

Make a call

1.In idle mode, enter the phone number using the

keypad. To correct an error, press

.

2. Press

to dial the number

OR press

[Options], select Call and press

.

3.To end the call, press , OR close the flip, OR

press the [End] softkey.

Make an international call

1.Press and hold the until the "+" sign appears on the screen.

2.Enter the country code, area code and telephone number.

3.Proceed as explained above to make the call.

Dial a second call

This feature and related options are subscription-de- pendent.

You can make a second call during an active call or dur- ing a call on hold.
