emergency calls

To call an emergency number, enter the emergency number and press N.

Your service provider programs emergency phone numbers, (such as 112 or 911), that you can call under any circumstances, even when your phone is locked.

Emergency numbers vary by country. Your phone’s pre-programmed emergency number(s) may not work in all locations, and sometimes an emergency call cannot be placed due to network, environmental, or interference issues.

1From the home screen, press Nto see a list of recently dialed calls.

2Scroll to the entry you want to call and press N.

Play your music wherever and whenever you want.

Note: You must have a microSD memory card (available separately) installed in your phone to use the music player.

First, load music onto your computer. Then, transfer the music to your phone (using Windows®

Media Player, or manually). For instructions on loading and transferring music, see your User’s Guide.

To activate the music player, press [. Your phone shows the Music Player menu, which includes:

All Songs Play a song.

Playlists Create or play a playlist.

Artists Play music by an artist.

Albums Play music from an album.

Genres Play music by genre (type of music) such as rock or jazz.

1Enter the number on the home screen and press Save.

2Select Create New Contact.

3Enter the contact details.

4Press Save when you’re finished.

1From the home screen, press Contacts.

2Scroll through the list to highlight the contact’s number.

3Press N.

Find it: s> g Messaging > Create Message

1Enter a phone number or email address. or

Press sto select Add, then select Contacts, Recent Calls, or Groups. Press sto mark each entry you want to include as a message recipient, and press Done when finished.

2Scroll down to the text entry area and enter message text.

To insert a prewritten message, press sto

select Insert, then select Quick Text. Scroll to the quick text you want to insert and press s.

3To insert a stored picture, select Insert, then

select Pictures. Scroll to the desired picture and press s.

To insert a sound, select Insert, then select Audio. Scroll to the desired sound and press s.

To insert a Vcard for a contact in your Phonebook,

select Insert, then select Contact Info. Scroll to the desired entry and press s.
