Entering a Pause in a Number

When you call automated systems, you are typically prompted by a recorded message to enter PIN numbers, Voice Mail numbers, etc.

You can store these numbers, along with special “pause” characters that tell your phone to pause before sending additional numbers.

1.Follow “Getting to Phone Book” on page 35 to select Store Number. You will see Enter Number.

2.Enter the phone number you use to access the automated system.

3.Press f, then press S. You will see

Insert Wait o.

4.Press sto insert a pause (o) into the sequence.

5.Enter the next group of numbers (such as an account number or PIN number).

6.Enter any other required symbols (such as * or #).

7.Insert another pause character, then enter the next group of numbers by repeating steps 3 through 5 as often as necessary.

You can store up to 32 digits, including pauses.

8.Press sto begin storing. You will see
