ring styles & alerts

Your phone rings and/or vibrates to notify you of an incoming call or to signal certain other events. This ring or vibration is called an alert.

set a style

Find it: s> u Settings > Ring Style

1Select Style by pressing s.

2Scroll to a ring style and press s.

Set alerts for different events, such as getting a message in your inbox or receiving a call.

Find it: s> u Settings > Ring Style

1Scroll to Style Detail and press s.

2Scroll to an alert type and press s.

3Scroll to the desired detail setting and press s.

Note: Your phone plays a sample of each highlighted setting. Ringtones play through the speakerphone, unless you’re using a headset.

answer options

Set your phone to one of the following answer options: Multi-key On, Multi-key Off or Open to answer.

Find it: s> u Settings > In Call Setup > Answer Options

wallpaper

Set a picture as a wallpaper (background) image in

your home screen.

Find it: s> u Settings > Personalize > Wallpaper

To select a wallpaper image:
