Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

When you’re in range of an available Wi-Fi network you can use your phone’s Wi-Fi feature to access the Internet and other data services.

1.Touch > > Settings.

2.Touch Wi-Fi ON/OFF icon to ON to turn Wi-Fi on.

3.Touch Wi-Fi to display a list of available networks.

4.Touch a Wi-Fi network to connect. If necessary, enter the security key and touch Connect.

When you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network, you’ll see the Wi-Fi icon () in the status bar.

Note: Wi-Fi should remain turned on to extend battery life.

Tip: To toggle Wi-Fi on and off easily, you can place

a widget on one of your Home screens. Touch > and touch the WIDGETS tab. Touch and hold

Power control and drag it to the screen you want.
