numeric mode

Press #in a text entry view to switch to numeric n mode. Press the number keys to enter the numbers you want.

Shortcut: You can press and hold a number key to temporarily switch to numeric mode from iTAP™ or Multi-tap modes. Enter a space to change back to iTAP or Multi-tap mode.

symbol mode

Press #in a text entry view until your display shows a list of symbols. Scroll to the symbol you want, then press the centre key s.

volume

Press the volume keys to:

turn off an

incoming call alert

change the earpiece volume during calls

change the music volume during music playback (if you are using a A2DP headset, the volume controls are on the headset)

change the ringer volume from the home screen.

Note: Changing the ringer volume will update your current profile.
