3Install the SIM card Slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot (as shown below). Make sure that the gold contact area on the card is facing downwards. To remove the SIM card, pull it gently in the opposite direction.

4Install the battery

Insert the top of the battery fi rst into the top edge of the battery compartment. Ensure that the battery contacts align with the terminals on the phone. Press the bottom of the battery down until it snaps into place.
