Sending and receiving your ﬁles using Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a great way to send and receive

ﬁles as no wires are needed and connection is quick and easy. You can also connect to a Bluetooth headset to make and receive calls. Before you can start sharing ﬁ les with Bluetooth, you will need to pair your device with another Bluetooth device. For information on pairing devices, see Pairing with another Bluetooth device.

To switch Bluetooth on:

1Press or and select . Choose Connectivity, then Bluetooth.

2Select Bluetooth on/off and choose On.

3Select Off to switch Bluetooth off.

To send a ﬁle:

1Open the ﬁ le you want to send, typically this will be a photo, video or music ﬁ le.

2Select Options and choose Send via, then Bluetooth.

3Select Yes to turn Bluetooth on if it is not already activated.

4Your KM501 will automatically search for other Bluetooth enabled devices within range.

5Choose the device you want to send the ﬁ le to and select Send.

6Your ﬁ le will be sent.

To receive a ﬁle:

1To receive ﬁ les, your Bluetooth must be both On and Visible. See Changing your Bluetooth settings for more information.

2A message will prompt you to accept the ﬁ le from the sender. Select Yes to receive the ﬁ le.

Tip! Keep an eye on the progress bar to make sure your file is sent.
