Basic way to select input method when editing SMS/ MMS message

1From the main menu, use the navigation keys to select Messages and press OK.

2Select New message and press OK.

3 Select Text or Multimedia and press OK.

4 Press Options and select Set T9 to select a desired input method.

Quick way to change input method

Press the # key to change the input method when you are in the text mode.

To insert a space

You may press the 0 key to insert spaces when the input methods are T9Abc/ T9abc/ T9ABC/ Abc/ abc/ABC.

Traditional English input

Your phone provides the Traditional multi-tap function and Predicative input method (T9) when you are in the text mode.

Note: When you press left soft key, you can select whom you can send to such as Send to, Send to many, Send by group.

Send to: choose the person in the address book or enter the dial Send to many:choose the recipient by multiple choice

Send by group: choose the recipient by group

Calls

Making a call

1Key in the number using the keypad. To delete a digit press Clear.

2Press to initiate the call.

3 To end the call, press .

TIP! To enter + when making an international call, press and hold 0.

Making a call from your contacts

1Select Contacts from the Standby screen.

2Using the keypad, enter the first letter of the contact you want to call. For example, for Office, Press 6 three times to select the first character, “O”

3Select Call or press to initiate the call.
