Lock the screen

Locking the screen turns off the display and disables the control buttons to prevent accidental screen touches and button presses.

Lock the screen by pressing the END CALL/POWER button. To unlock the screen and enable the control buttons, press MENU twice.

To create and enable a screen unlock pattern

In addition to locking the screen, you can create and enable a screen unlock pattern. You have to draw the correct unlock pattern on the screen before you can unlock the screen and buttons.

1.Press HOME > MENU, and then touch Settings.

2.Touch Security > Set unlock pattern.

3.Read the information on the screen, and then touch Next.

4.Study the example pattern on the screen, and then touch Next.
