§Save files from the Office hub such as Word, Excel®, or PowerPoint® documents to your SkyDrive and then delete them from your phone. See What's in the Office hub? on page 84.
§Use the Windows Phone app to save files such as music and podcasts downloaded from the Xbox Music Store or photos and videos from the Camera app to your computer and then delete them from your phone.
Check windowsphone.com to see if your computer is compatible with the Windows Phone app.
Checking phone and SD card storage
You can easily check how much storage is left on your phone and on the storage card.
1.On the Start screen, slide to the left.
2.Tap Settings > phone storage. The used and available space on the phone and storage card are displayed.
3.To know what's using your phone or SD card storage, tap the phone or SD card storage bar.
4.To change the default save location for music, videos, or pictures, tap the Store new music+videos on or Store new pictures on box.
Erasing the SD card
1.On the Start screen, slide to the left.
2.Tap Settings > phone storage.
3.Tap the SD card storage bar, and then tap format SD card.
Keeping tabs on phone storage
Make More Space helps you to keep an eye on how much phone storage you have left. It also tells you how much phone storage is being used to store music, videos, photos and documents.
When Make More Space is installed on your phone, the app will automatically launch when your phone storage is 90% full.
