SETTINGS

LANGUAGE

Selects the language in which letters are displayed on screen.

1Press [MENU] .

2Select either “English” or “Spanish” with the Navigation Key.

3To save, press [OK].

VOICE PRIVACY

Enhances voice privacy and avoids tapping during a call.

1Press [MENU] .

2Select “Standard” or “Enhanced” with the Navigation Key.

3To save, press [OK].

“Enhanced”: Makes it more difficult to wire tap.

TTY MODE

Your phone is able to operate with a TTY (Teletypewriter) device in both analog and digital modes. This feature is system dependent and may not be available in all areas.

1Press [MENU] .

2Select one of the following options (TTY off/ TTY+TALK/TTY+HEAR/TTY Full) with the

Navigation Key and press [OK].

LOCATION

To determine whether or not the network system can detect your position:

1Press [MENU] .

2Select “911 Only” or “Location On” with the Navigation Key.

911 Only: Your location will be hidden from network

&application except 911.

Location On: Your location is now available to the network.

3To save, press [OK].

SYSTEM

SET MODE

Selects the Preferred System.

1Press [MENU] .

2Select one of the following options (Automatic B /Automatic A /Home only) with the Navigation

Key and press [OK].

Automatic B: Scan the radio channels based on the Automatic B setting.

Automatic A: Scan the radio channels based on the Automatic A setting.

Home only: Scans radio channels only within your home area or home affiliated area.
