Entering your PIN code

When you install a SIM card for the first time, you may need to enter a PIN code using the onscreen number pad.

Important: Depending on your PIN settings, you may be asked to enter the PIN each time you switch on the phone function.

If the PIN code you enter is incorrect, a warning message appears.

Activating a new SIM card

If you are using your SIM card for the first time, it may require activation. Contact your network operator for details on how to do this.

The Today screen

Eaxch time you turn on your smartphone, it will display the Today screen. This screen gives you quick, icon-based access to many of the frequently-used features of your smartphone.

The first time you start your smartphone, you will see shortcuts and function icons on the screen.

Some of them can be changed, others not.
