All drivers comply with the regulations governing electrical equipment at hazardous locations as set forth by the National Electric Code. Drivers are listed by UL and CSA (HLE Series only). They are recommended for paging, signal and voice communication in chemical processing, petroleum, natural resource exploration and atmospheres as listed in the chart below.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Series HLE and MLE loudspeakers are explosion-proof compression driver/horn assemblies engineered for high-efficiency voice and electronic signal communication in hazardous areas. Drivers, which are protected within a rugged die-cast aluminum housing, are available in

60-watt (HLE Series) and 30-watt (MLE Series) power handling versions. Models with T suf- fix include a factory-installed, internally mounted transformer (Note: To meet UL requirements transformer must be factory installed). All models are equipped with 12" conduit access and an adjustable mounting bracket.

Projector horns are available in two styles to meet dispersion requirements. Model HLE/MLE- 30 is a high-quality, polycarbonate projector that creates a 120 ° x 60 ° pattern for wide area coverage. Model HLE/MLE-32 is a spun aluminum bell providing a 95 ° circular distribution emphasis.

Note: – For Canadian use (Price List page 17 Text)

Drivers and projector horns are ordered and shipped separately. For performance accuracy, specifications are listed for assembled configurations.

HLE Series, MLE Series specifications

Atlas Sound, a well-respected name in professional audio solutions, has made significant strides with their MLE and HLE Series of amplifiers. Designed for exceptional sound quality and reliability, these amplifiers cater to a variety of commercial applications and are celebrated for their advanced features and robust performance.

The MLE Series represents a hallmark in mid-level amplifier technology, offering models that combine affordability with high efficiency. With power ratings optimized for a wide range of installations, the MLE Series makes it possible to effectively power everything from paging systems to background music. One of the key technologies featured in this series is Class D amplification, which allows for lightweight design while maximizing power output and minimizing energy consumption. This efficiency translates into lower operating costs, a critical aspect for long-term installations.

Additionally, the MLE Series showcases advanced thermal management systems, ensuring operation stays cool even in demanding environments. Built-in signal processing features enhance audio quality, providing an option for equalization and tone shaping. A user-friendly interface with ample connectivity options further simplifies installation and operation, making the MLE amplifiers versatile and accessible.

On the other hand, the HLE Series steps up the game for those requiring higher power and greater control. The HLE amplifiers are engineered with professional-grade components that ensure reliability in even the most challenging audio environments. They incorporate sophisticated protection circuitry that guards against issues such as thermal overload and short circuits, promoting longevity and consistent performance.

Both the MLE and HLE Series are designed with flexibility in mind, featuring multiple input options including balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors. This adaptability allows them to integrate seamlessly into various audio systems, whether in corporate, educational, or entertainment settings.

All models in these series come equipped with advanced features like network control capabilities, enabling users to manage settings remotely via an intuitive software interface. This technological advancement keeps pace with the growing trend of smart building solutions, allowing for more efficient management of audio resources in large venues.

In conclusion, Atlas Sound’s MLE and HLE Series amplifiers stand out as reliable and powerful choices for anyone seeking high-quality audio solutions. Their blend of efficiency, durability, and advanced technology makes them an ideal selection for professional audio applications, ensuring crystal-clear sound and dependable operation across different environments.
