Using Daily Timer, you can wake up with your favorite music. On the other hand, with Recording Timer, you can make a tape of a radio broadcast automatically.

To go back to the previous step, while holding SHIFT, press CANCEL.

1Select one of the timer setting modes—ON for Daily Timer or Recording Timer.

2Make the timer setting as you want.

Repeat the procedure for the following settings until finished:

1Set the hour then minute for on-time.

2 Set the hour then minute for off-time.

3 Select the playback source.

For Daily Timer, you can select from “TUNER FM,” “TUNER AM,” “DISC,” “TAPE-A,” “TAPE-B” and “AUX.”

For Recording Timer, you can select from “TUNER FM” and “TUNER AM.”

EX.: When “TUNER FM” is selected for Daily Timer.

4Select a preset station for “TUNER FM” and “TUNER AM,” or select a group and track number for “DISC.”

5For Daily Timer: Select the volume level.

You can select the volume level (“VOLUME 5,” “VOLUME 10,” “VOLUME 15” and “VOLUME --”). If you select “VOLUME --,” the volume is set to the last level when the System has

been turned off.
