1Unpack the carry bag and separate the components. Unfold the tent body and lay it out with the floor on the ground and a grommeted web in each corner. Pull the tent into a rough rectangle. Do not stake down the tent just yet; but in windy conditions, stake down one corner that faces into the wind.

2Assemble the shock corded Gold tent poles and Orange brim rod. Carefully seat

each section. Try to keep the poles from snapping together as this can damage the ends. Divide the Gold poles according to size and shape. Set the Orange rod aside.

3Insert the tent poles into the web

grommets.

Near each side of the door, insert a long Gold pole into the web grommet. See fig.1.

Then arrange the poles diagonally across the tent from A to B and C to D. See fig.2.

4Raise the tent.

At B, push the pole from B to A to create an arc. Insert the locking post into the grommet on web to maintain tension.

Repeat with the second pole from C to D.

Lift both poles over the center of the tent. Lift the center carabineer on the tent fabric and capture both poles with the carabineer. Make sure the carabineer is

locked in place. See fig.3.

Fig.3

5 Clip the fabric to the tent poles. Working your way around the tent, attach those carabineers and pole clips that align with the poles. See fig.4 and 5.

6Install all remaining poles, clips and carabineers.

Slide a Gold pole through the two carabineers at the top of the door. Seat the post into the grommet on the side web at E. On the direct opposite side at F, grasp the end of the pole and push it up to form an arc.

Insert the post into the web grommet at F and attach the clips.

• Continue with the next Gold pole from G to H.

Note: Seat the posts into the first grommet on the side webs. Whenever poles cross, capture both with the carabineers. See fig.6.

Slide the Orange pole through the two carabiners in front of the door. Seat the post into the outside grommet on the side web at G. On the opposite side I grasp the end of the pole and push it up to form an arc. Insert the post into the web grommet. See fig.7.

7Stake the tent down. Your tent is now free standing. Place it in the desired location and stake it down with the aluminum skewers. See fig. 8.

8Attach the fly to the tent.

Spread the fly on the ground. Find the corner with reflective web and attach it to that corner of the tent with matching reflective web. Drape the fly, right side up, on top of the tent so that the vestibule covers the door.

Reach under the fly and attach all the Velcro® tabs to the poles. See fig.9.

Connect the side release buckles on the fly to their mates on the tent.

Move to the rear of the tent. Use the yellow stakes to stake out the web loop on the back vestibule, but do not adjust the tension just yet. Go to the front of tent and stake out the two web loops on the front vestibule.

9Adjust the tension on the webs. Work your way around the tent, tighten the web buckles until the fly/vestibule is taut. See fig. 10.

10Stake out the attached guy lines and adjust the sliders to a proper tension.

See fig.11.
