•The video cord is not connected correctly.

•Both of the component video jack and S-Video jack are connected.

•A VCR is connected between the main unit and the TV set.

•Although this system is connected to a non- Progressive TV set, DVD’s scan mode is set to “PROGRESSIVE”.

→Set the scan mode to “INTERLACE” (page 26).

7The screen size is abnormal.

•The screen size is set improperly.

→Set “MONITOR TYPE” according to the TV set you are using (page 29).

7The screen cannot be switched.

•The Progressive mode is applied only to component video output.

About sound

7There is no sound.

•Speakers are not connected correctly.

•The sound is muted.

•“NO AUDIO” is displayed on the display window.

The disc may have been produced through illegal copying.

→Confirm at the store where you bought the disc.

7The sound is weak compared with TV or Video.

•“DVD LEVEL” is set to “NORMAL”.

→Set to other than “NORMAL” (page 26).

7The sound is distorted.

•The volume is turned up too high.

→Turn down the volume (page 16).

7No sound comes out of the subwoofer.

•“SUBWOOFER” is turned off.

→Press S.WFR OUT to turn on (page 10).

7The music through the wireless connection stops.

•Noise and static electricity may stop the music through the wireless connection. In this case, do the following operations:

→Disconnect and connect the wireless transmitter

→Restart the music software on your PC

→Turn off and on the system

About radio

7The sound is noisy while receiving/Receiving is disabled.

• The antenna is not connected correctly.
