CAUTION: Make all connections before plugging the System into an AC power outlet.

Connecting Auxiliary Equipment

Connect an (optional) signal cord between the AUX terminals on the System and the output terminals of your auxiliary equipment, (e.g. turn- table). You can listen to this source.

Connecting an MD Recorder, etc (Digital Output)

Unplug the cap and connect an (optional) optical digital cord between the System’s OPTICAL DIGITAL OUT terminal and the input terminal of the MD recorder, etc.

You can record the digital output signal from the System’s CD Player to the MD recorder, etc.

Connecting a Subwoofer System

Connect an (optional) signal cord between the SUB WOOFER OUT terminal and an external JVC subwoofer system, etc.

Connecting the AC Power Cord

Firmly insert the supplied AC power cord into the AC inlet on the back of the Unit.

The provided AC power cord for this unit has certain one-way direction connections to prevent electric shock. Refer to the illustration for correct connection.

CAUTIONS:

ONLY USE THE JVC POWER CORD PROVIDED WITH THIS SYSTEM TO AVOID MALFUNCTION OR DAM- AGE TO THE SYSTEM.

BE SURE TO UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE OUTLET WHEN GOING OUT OR WHEN THE SYS- TEM IS NOT IN USE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.

Now you can plug the AC power cord into the wall outlet, and your System is at your command!
