Additional options

By using the pushbuttons to select one or more additional options, basic pro- grams can be tailored to the type of laundry being washed.

When the “Door” button is pressed, the other buttons will spring out, cancelling any additional options.

The “Water plus” option is available in the following programs:

The wash and rinse cycle in COT- TONS.

The wash cycle in PERMANENT PRESS.

“Gentle wash”

Drum movement is reduced by half for gentle washing of slightly soiled laundry items, or delicate fabrics

which otherwise tend to pill. Available in the “COTTONS” and “PER- MANENT PRESS” programs.

“Pre-wash”

Use for heavily soiled or stained laundry items.

Available in the “COTTONS”, “PER- MANENT PRESS” and “FINE / DELICATES” programs.

The required amount of detergent should be added to compartment i.

“Water plus”

Slightly increases the water level, best used;

For particularly delicate fabrics in ad- dition to the “Gentle wash” option,

In hard water areas, if additional water is required for dispensing de- tergent,

In soft water areas to enhance wash- ing and rinsing results.

By people who are allergic to deter- gents.

“Rapid wash”

Offers a quick wash cycle (approx. 38 minutes)

Can be used with or without a pre-wash. “Rapid wash” is available in all programs.

To operate:

1Push in the ON/OFF button to turn on the machine.

2Push in the Pre-wash button if de- sired.

3Push in the Rapid wash button. No- tice the thick gray ring surrounding the button. This gray ring corre- sponds to the gray ring surrounding the COTTONS, PERMANENT PRESS, and FINE / DELICATES programs on the Selector switch. As long as the program selected is within this ring, the actual wash times will be close to what is displayed.

4Choose the desired program and the machine will start.
