IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

STEAM STATION

Do not direct the steam towards people or animals (danger of scalding). Avoid steam contact with unprotected skin.

Switch off when not in use & unplug from the mains. Do not leave the appliance switched on unnecessarily.

Never leave the iron unattended when it is connected to the mains.

To guard against accidents, a faulty mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent or similarly qualified person.

The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.

When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.

The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.

The pressure release valve (12) is an excess pressure seal. Never replace this with any other type of seal.

Steam and boiling water could escape from the unit. DO NOT OPEN the tank seal (12), until the water reservoir (14) has cooled down to room temperature.

NEVER try to fill the pressure steam unit through the tank seal (12). This is only for cleaning.

UNPACKING & INSPECTION

Unpack the unit and components from the shipping container.

Remove all visible packing material. If any damage is discovered, contact place of purchase or Dualit Ltd on 01293 652 500.

Steam stations are made up of two main components: a container that holds the water for steam ironing and an iron without a water tank.

The main body has a heating element that boils the water and a valve that lets the steam through a hose into the iron.

An electric cord for the soleplate combined with a rubber hose for the steam supply connect the two components.

The thermostat for the iron soleplate is located on the iron the same place as for conventional irons and there’s a steam pulse button that you press for steam ironing.

Vertical steaming is possible due to this component arrangement, which is ideal for ironing and freshening up curtains and suits.

The Dualit Steam Station Iron is designed for those who demand efficiency and precision in garment care. This innovative ironing solution combines advanced technologies with user-friendly features, making it a standout choice for both casual and dedicated ironers.

One of the defining characteristics of the Dualit Steam Station Iron is its powerful steam output. With a continuous steam function that can deliver up to 100 grams per minute, the iron effortlessly smooths out even the most stubborn creases. Additionally, the steam boost feature provides an extra burst of steam—up to 240 grams—perfect for vertical steaming of hanging garments or delicate fabrics.

The iron boasts a lightweight design paired with a spacious 1.5-liter water tank. This allows for extended ironing sessions without constant refilling, making it ideal for tackling larger laundry loads. The easy-fill tank simplifies the refilling process, ensuring that users can maintain productivity without interruptions.

Another notable feature is the precision tip of the iron, which is specifically designed to navigate around buttons, collars, and seams with ease. This thoughtful design minimizes the risk of damage to garments while maximizing efficiency in reaching tricky areas.

The Dualit Steam Station Iron incorporates a non-stick soleplate that glides smoothly across various fabrics, from cotton to silk. The non-stick surface minimizes drag, which helps to prevent snagging and ensures a seamless ironing experience. The soleplate's design also aids in heat distribution, ensuring that fabrics are ironed evenly.

Safety is paramount, and the Dualit Steam Station Iron recognizes this with an automatic shut-off feature. After a period of inactivity, the iron will turn off automatically, providing peace of mind, especially when multitasking or when the iron is inadvertently left unattended.

Additionally, the Dualit Steam Station Iron is equipped with a range of temperature settings to accommodate different types of fabric. From delicate materials to heavy-duty linens, users can adjust the heat effortlessly, ensuring optimal results without the risk of scorching.

In summary, the Dualit Steam Station Iron is an exemplary tool for those seeking an efficient, versatile, and safe ironing experience.
