Placing a cloth between the fabric and the pressing plate may help with delicate fabrics.
If you have older types of buttons or zippers, you may need to take care to avoid melting. In order to do so, place the item face down and cover with a pressing cloth before pressing.
A spray bottle may be used to spray the fabric lightly. This will further help to remove stubborn wrinkles.
Place a damp cloth over the fabric before pressing to help with stub- born wrinkles or heavy fabrics.
