Attention! Before selecting the 21 (drain) or the 22 (spin) programmes, the selector dial must to be turned to the “O” Off position.

Important!

The rinse hold option cannot be selected for the automatic WASHING & DRYING programme.

4 “quick wash” button

Select this option for laundry that is only slightly soiled (not available for COTTONS economy 60° - programme 2, MINI 30° - programme 23 and WOOL - programmes 15, 16 and 17).

The washing time will be reduced according to the type of fabric and the selected temperature.

5 “half load” button

Select this option to reduce water consumption on the rinse cycle when washing ONLY a smaller load of cottons or linens (maximum load size = 2.5 kg). The machine performs the rinses with less water.

Note

It is possible to select this option when selecting the automatic Washing & Drying cycle (maximum load size = 2.5 kg).

6 “option” button

Press this button to select the following options:

prewash: select this option if you wish your laundry to be prewashed at 30° C before the main wash (not available for WOOL - programmes 15, 16 and 17 and MINI 30° - programme 23).

The prewash ends with a short spin at 650 rpm in programmes for cotton and synthetic fabrics, whereas in the programme for delicate fabrics the water is only drained.

intensive: this option can be selected for heavily soiled laundry.

If you depress this button the washing intensity will be increased and the washing time will be prolonged by few minutes depending on the selected type of fabric.

This option can be selected with all cottons and synthetic programmes but cannot be selected with the Energy saving programme COTTONS economy 60° - programme 2.

extra rinse: this option can be selected with all programmes, except the WOOL - programmes 15, 16 and 17 and MINI 30° - programme 23. The machine will add 2 rinses to the programmes for cotton and 1 rinse to the programmes for synthetics.

This option is recommended for people who are allergic to detergents, and areas where the water is very soft.

The prewash, the intensive and the extra rinse options cannot be selected together by means of the relevant button.

The following pieces of information are shown on the display:

Duration of washing programme in hours and minutes, after you have selected a programme.

While the programme is running (after you have pressed the “start pause” button), the displayed time value decreases by one unit every minute.

Selected drying time in minutes or hours and minutes (max 130 mins).

After the programme has started the time remaining is updated every minute.

The washing machine has stopped with water in the tub, at the end of a programme with “rinse hold” option or at the end of the SOAK 30° - programme 18: this is indicated by a flashing zero.
