OCCURRENCE

WATER

Wash load too wet after spin.

Water does not enter washer or it enters slowly,

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Washer is overloaded.

Load is out of balance.

Drain hose is kinked.

Water supply is not adequate in area.

Water supplyfaucets are not completely open.

Water is being used elsewhere in the house.

SOLUTION

Donotoverioadwasher.See Washing Procedures.

Rearrange load to allow proper spinning.

Straighten drain hose.

Checkanotherfaucetinthehouse. Waituntiiwater supply and pressureincrease.

Fullyopen hot and cold faucets.

Water pressure must be at least 30 psi (260 kPa). Avoid running water elsewhere while washer is filling.

Water inlet hosesare kinked.

Water level does not cover Improper water levelselection (for modelswith

load.water level/load sizecontrol). Washer is overloaded.

Warm or hot water is not

Hot water heater is settoo low or is a distance

hot enough,

Straighten hoses.

Select higher water level/load size.

Do not overload washer. When control is set at highest fill level, dry load level should not behigher than top row of circular holes in wash tub.

Measure hot water temperature at nearby faucet with candy or meat thermometer. Water temperature should beat least 130°F(70°C).Adjust water heater as necessary.

Water in washer does not drain or drains slowly.

Water leaks.

Incorrect wash and rinse temperatures,

Water is entering washer but tub does not fill.

Hotwaterisbeing usedelsewhereinthehouse.

Drain hose is kinked or clogged.

Fill hose connection at faucet or washer.

House drain pipes are clogged.

Oversudsing.

Hot and cold water hoses are connected to wrong supply faucets,

Drain hose standpipe is incorrect height.

Avoid using hot water elsewhere before or during washer use. There may not be enough hot water available for proper cleaning. If problem persists, your hot water system may be unable to support more than 1 use at a time.

Clean and straighten the drain hose.

Check and tighten hose connections. Install rubber sealing washers provided.

Unclog drain pipes. Contact plumber if necessary.

Use lessdetergent.

Connect hot water hose to hot water faucet and cold water hose to cold water faucet.

Standpipe must be a minimum of 33" (83.82 cm) high to prevent siphoning. See INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
