Selecting a cycle and time
The Cycle Control Knob shown below may vary from the Cycle Control Knob on your washer. The Knob shown illustrates the different features of all washer models covered by this book. Your model may not include all of the cycles shown. Each cycle is designed for different types of fabrics and soil levels.
l An Extra Rinse Option is available (on some models) in the Regular and Permanent Press cycles. See page 6.
Regular cycle
The Regular cycle features the Gentle Wash system and high spin speeds to shorten drying time.
lUse 10 to 14 minutes (NORMAL) to clean cotton and linen fabrics that are moderately to heavily soiled.
l Use 6 minutes (LIGHT) to clean cotton and linen fabrics that are lightly soiled.

Knits Gentle feature
The Knits Gentle feature has a reduced agitation speed for gentle soil removal. Low spin speeds reduce wrinkling.
lUse 6 minutes of wash time to clean delicate items and washable knits that are lightly soiled.
