Canceling individual bookmarks

7Canceling bookmarks set in PBC OFF mode [Method A]

1.In PBC OFF mode, start playing the segment whose bookmark you want to cancel.

2.Press the CANCEL button on the remote control unit. The bookmark for the segment immediately preceding the part you are playing will be canceled.

Note

When you cancel a bookmak number, all subsequent bookmark numbers change, moving up one level to fill the gap you made.

[Method B]

1.Start playing in NORMAL mode.

2.Press the CANCEL button on the remote control unit. The bookmark with the highest number will be canceled (regard- less of the playing position).

1.Start playing in either NORMAL or PBC OFF mode.

2.Press the CANCEL button on the remote control unit. The bookmark with the highest number will be canceled (regard- less of the playing position).

7Canceling bookmarks on a disc in the player

You can cancel bookmarks on the currently selected disc in the player using the 8 (PAUSE)/STILL button on the player.

In stop mode, press the 8(PAUSE)/STILL button on the player until bookmark information on the television screen stops blinking.

7Canceling bookmarks on a disc which was played the earliest You can cancel bookmarks on a disc you played the earliest whether it is in the player or not.

In stop mode, press the 7 (STOP) button on the player until bookmark information on the television screen stops blinking.
