Checking the Battery Power

1.Rotate VOL•OFF clockwise to turn on the trans- ceiver.

2.Press the push-to-talk button on the left side of the transceiver. If the indicator next to the antenna lights red, there is sufficient battery power for transmission. If the indicator does not light, you need to recharge the battery pack.
