Clearing Jammed

Nails

A jammed nail must be cleared before using the nailer again.

To clear a jammed nail from the dis- charge area:

1.DISCONNECT NAILER FROM THE AIR SUPPLY!

2.Release the catch lever and slide the magazine pusher back.

3.Remove the nail stick from the maga- zine.

4.Open the nailer nose by removing the rubber nose tip, depressing the nose release mechanism, and opening the nose cover as shown in Figure 7.

5.Dislodge the jammed nail with a tool that will fit in the slot on the underside of the nose.

6.Throw the damaged nail away and insert a new nail stick that only contains clean, undamaged nails. DO NOT use dirty or damaged nails!

7.Slide the pusher back until it locks into position.
