PLACEMENT AND FINE TUNING

FRONT SPEAKERS

For best results the loudspeakers should be separated a distance approximately equal to the listening distance. Angling the loudspeakers inward towards the listener will improve the image stability for non-central listeners. Close proximity to a side or rear wall will enhance the midbass performance, although too close (particularly a corner location) and the bass may be unnaturally high and image performance may be degraded.

STANDARD SURROUND SETUP

This is a standard multichannel surround sound speaker setup for optimal 5.1 channel home theater sound.

CENTER SPEAKER

The loudspeaker should be positioned below the TV. For best results align the front of the loudspeaker with the front of the TV. If the loudspeaker is placed under the TV and very close to the floor, then tilting upwards may be beneficial.

When installing the center speaker on top of the TV, be sure to secure it with tape or some other suitable means. Otherwise, the speaker may fall from the TV due to external shocks such as earthquakes, endangering those nearby or damaging the speaker.

SURROUND SPEAKERS

For best results the loudspeakers should be positioned at or above ear level. Depending upon your room layout and preferences, the left and right rear speakers should be positioned on the side walls just the rear of the listening position, or on the walls.

NON-SKID PADS

If the front, center and surround speakers are placed on a hard surface, such as wood or tile place four non-skid pads on the bottom flat surface of the speakers.

S-RS7TB, S-RS3TB specifications

The Pioneer S-RS7TB and S-RS3TB are two remarkable speakers that encapsulate the essence of audio fidelity and modern technology, making them ideal choices for anyone looking to elevate their listening experience. Both models are engineered to offer pristine sound quality while seamlessly integrating into a variety of home environments.

Starting with the S-RS7TB, this impressive floor-standing speaker showcases Pioneer’s commitment to high-performance audio. With a robust construction, the S-RS7TB features a 3-way bass reflex system, which includes a 6.5-inch woofer, a 5-inch midrange driver, and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter. This configuration enables it to deliver a broad frequency response, ensuring that every note is clear and lifelike. The bass is deep and powerful, yet controlled, thanks to the rear-firing bass port that enhances low-end performance without overwhelming the midrange and treble frequencies.

The S-RS3TB, on the other hand, is a more compact bookshelf speaker that doesn't compromise on sound quality. It employs a 2-way bass reflex design that includes a 4-inch woofer and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter, making it perfect for smaller spaces or as surround sound speakers in a more extensive home audio setup. Despite its size, the S-RS3TB is capable of producing a rich and detailed audio landscape, making it an excellent choice for both casual listening and more critical audio applications.

Both models utilize Pioneer’s proprietary technologies, including advanced speaker driver materials and construction techniques that minimize distortion and enhance durability. The tweeters are designed with precision to ensure smooth frequency transitions, resulting in a coherent soundstage. Furthermore, the elegant cabinetry of both speakers is not just aesthetically pleasing; it is also designed to reduce unwanted resonance, contributing to better sound clarity.

Connectivity options on both models allow for flexible integration with various audio systems, and their stylish designs ensure that they complement any home décor. Whether you are a music enthusiast, a movie buff, or a gamer, the S-RS7TB and S-RS3TB speakers provide an immersive sound experience that brings your audio to life.

In summary, both the Pioneer S-RS7TB and S-RS3TB deliver exceptional audio performance with their state-of-the-art technologies and thoughtful engineering. Each speaker serves its purpose, whether it’s filling a room with powerful sound or providing a high-fidelity experience in a compact form.
