Appendix A: Operating the MIXPAD 12/9 off Battery Power

The MIXPAD 12 and MIXPAD 9 can optionally be battery powered. This requires the use of two 12 Volt rechargeable Lead-Acid (Gelcell) batteries, connected to the rear panel AC connector, wired as shown in the illustration below. These batteries will provide the necessary bi-polar voltages needed to operate and maintain excellent audio quality.
