BATTERY
Battery Type: Four AA
Life: Up to 10 hours with high powered NiMH rechargeable batteries (2600mAH - 2700mAH). Life may be less with regular alkaline batteries. We recommend getting 8 high quality rechargeable batteries, so you can always have one set charging while the other set is in the guitar. When the batteries run low, the blue indicator LED will begin to flash as a warning and will eventually go out.
When the batteries are dead or even removed from the instrument, the guitar still functions as an American Series Stratocaster®, so you will never have a "gig emergency".
