1.POWER SWITCH - Turns the AC power ON and OFF.

2.LINE CORD - This amplifier is equipped with an IEC grounding type supply cord to reduce the possibility of shock hazard. Be sure to connect it to a grounded AC receptacle in accordance with the voltage and frequency ratings listed on the rear panel under INPUT POWER.

NOTE: Items 3 and 4 apply only to the Stage 100H.

3.SPEAKER OUTPUT (8Ω minimum) - Use this out- put jack when only one 8Ω speaker enclosure is to be connected to the Stage 100H. If two 8Ω

speaker enclosures are to be connected, use both parallel speaker output jacks (total load of 4Ω).

4.SPEAKER OUTPUT (4Ω minimum) - Use this output jack when one 4Ω speaker enclosure is to be con-

nected to the Stage 100H. (Using this jack inter- nally switches the Stage 100H to accept a 4Ω load.)

• NOTE: Item 5 applies only to the Stage 100.

5.EXTERNAL SPEAKER (8Ω minimum) - Use this output jack when one 8Ω speaker enclosure is to be connected to the Stage 100 for additional out- put. The Stage 100’s internal speaker must be connected while using this jack.

6.LINE OUT - This balanced XLR line-level output is designed for connection to an external power amplifier or main house mixer. The signal from this output jack includes all tone shaping done by the amplifier.

7.RETURN - This 1/4 inch, unbalanced, TS, line- level input jack is designed to accept a signal from external effects devices or another amplifier in a “daisy-chain” configuration.

8.SEND - This 1/4 inch, unbalanced, TS, line-level output jack is designed to feed the preamp signal to external effects devices or to an “add-on” amplifier in a daisy-chain configuration.

9.FOOTSWITCH - Connect the footswitch at this jack. The two-button footswitch enables switching between Normal and Drive channels and ON/OFF switching of the MORE DRIVE pre-amplifier boost. Using this jack disables these switching functions from the front panel. NOTE: Connecting the footswitch with an unshielded speaker type cord is preferable to using a shielded coaxial guitar cord.

100, 160, 100H specifications

The Fender 100H, an amplifier that has gained a reputation for its versatility and robust sound, is a staple in both live performances and studio recordings. With its powerful output and rich tonal palette, the 100H appeals to a broad spectrum of guitarists, from rock aficionados to blues musicians.

One of the standout features of the Fender 100H is its ample power. This amplifier delivers a remarkable 100 watts, making it well-suited for large venues and outdoor performances. The ability to project sound with clarity and volume ensures that players are heard, regardless of the setting. Despite its power, the amp maintains a dynamic response that allows for expressive play, making it a go-to choice for artists seeking flexibility in their sound.

The design of the 100H incorporates both modern and classic Fender technologies. It features a two-channel design, granting players access to a clean channel that retains sparkle and brightness, alongside an overdrive channel for those looking to achieve a more aggressive tone. The overdrive channel produces a rich, saturated sound, perfect for lead riffs and heavier styles of music. This dual-channel configuration also allows musicians to seamlessly switch between styles during a performance.

Another notable characteristic of the Fender 100H is its built-in reverb. The reverb adds depth and ambiance to the sound, enhancing both clean and distorted tones without overpowering them. Musicians can adjust the reverb level to find the perfect balance, allowing for a customized sound that fits their individual playing style.

In terms of connectivity, the Fender 100H is equipped with multiple inputs and outputs, including effects loops and speaker outputs. This versatility allows players to integrate various effects pedals and external devices, further expanding their sonic options.

The amplifier's robust build quality ensures durability, which is essential for gigging musicians. Its aesthetic remains true to Fender's iconic look, with a stylish tolex covering and classic grill cloth that appeals to both contemporary and vintage enthusiasts alike.

In summary, the Fender 100H stands out due to its power, tonal versatility, and solid construction. Whether a player is looking for crystal-clear cleans or a powerful overdrive, the 100H delivers with an impressive array of features and technologies designed to meet the demands of modern musicians.
