MODEL MX200 SERIES MICROPHONES

Shure Microflexr MX200 Series microphones are miniature electret condenser microphones designed for miking choirs and performance groups. They are typically suspended over the heads of the performers. Their high sensitivity and wide fre- quency range make them suitable for recording, as well as sound reinforcement applications. An attached 101 mm (4 in.) gooseneck allows them to be easily aimed at the sound source.

FEATURES

SWide dynamic range and frequency response for accurate sound reproduction across the audio spectrum

SInterchangeable cartridges that provide an optimal polar pattern choice for each application

SBalanced, transformerless output for increased immunity

to noise over long cable runs

SSupplied stand-mount adapter for portable applications (in-line preamplifier versions only)

SWhite or black finish that blends unobtrusively with most surroundings

MX200 specifications

The Shure MX200 is an exceptional lightweight lavalier microphone designed to meet the rigors of professional audio recording and broadcasting. Renowned for its high-quality sound reproduction, the MX200 is an ideal choice for anyone who requires clear and reliable audio capture in a discreet format.

One of the standout features of the Shure MX200 is its small size and low-profile design. This unassuming microphone can easily be pinned to clothing, making it perfect for interviews, presentations, and theatrical performances where visibility of the microphone needs to be minimized. Despite its compact size, it delivers impressive audio fidelity, thanks to its high sensitivity and wide frequency response.

The microphone is equipped with a cardioid polar pattern, which effectively captures sound from the front while rejecting ambient noise from the sides and rear. This characteristic is crucial in environments where background noise could interfere with clarity, enhancing the overall quality of recordings.

In terms of construction, the MX200 is built to withstand the demands of everyday use. It features a robust design with a flexible cable, ensuring durability while maintaining a comfortable user experience. The microphone is compatible with a variety of wireless systems, making it an adaptable choice for varying setups, whether in film, television, or live performance.

Shure has incorporated advanced technologies into the MX200 to enhance performance. Its low self-noise level ensures that even the quietest of sounds are captured cleanly, while a wide dynamic range allows it to handle loud sound sources without distortion. The frequency response spans from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, covering the entire audible range, ensuring that vocal nuances are preserved accurately.

Another highlight is the detachable cable, which facilitates ease of replacement and versatility in different configuration setups. Additionally, the microphone is offered with various accessories, including windshields and clips, providing even more customization for specific recording scenarios.

In conclusion, the Shure MX200 lavalier microphone stands out for its blend of portability, quality, and versatility, making it an excellent choice for content creators, broadcasters, and performers alike. Its professional-grade audio capabilities, combined with its thoughtful design and robust construction, continue to set a benchmark in the world of compact microphones.
