EMOTION TriPOWER Dynamic Microphone

Description

The AKG Model D 3700M is a rugged dynamic cardioid microphone intended for on-stage vocal pickup. Its cardioid pattern is uniform with frequency, and its response has been specially-tailored at mid and high frequencies for improved speech intelligibility. The microphone capsule is shock- mounted with an elastic dual-circuit suspension and is protected by an easily removable wire mesh grille. The smooth triangular shape of the chassis and its soft-touch paint finish makes it comfortable to hold. The lightweight body is made of die-cast zinc alloy and has a black matte finish for minimum reflection and glare.

The D 3700M features a modular output system, which allows the microphone to be used with a standard non-switched or with a silent on-off switch with 3-pin XLR-type output or with the TM 40 module to create a wireless microphone compatible with the AKG WMS 40 series receivers.

The D 3700M light-weight body is die cast zinc alloy and has a black matte soft-touch paint finish for minimum reflection and glare. In addition, the XLR plug-in module is easily removable and may be replaced by the optional, TM40 module for conversion to wireless use. The D 3700MS provides the added feature of an on/off switch.

AKG Acoustics has long been recognized for its commitment to high-quality audio solutions, and the AKG 3700 and 3700S microphones serve as a testament to this legacy. These dynamic microphones are tailored for professional use, offering robust features that cater to musicians, vocalists, and sound engineers alike.

One of the main features of the AKG 3700 and 3700S microphones is their exceptional sound clarity and quality. Both microphones are designed with a cardioid polar pattern, which effectively captures sound from the front while minimizing unwanted background noise. This makes them ideal for live performances and studio recordings, where clarity is paramount.

The 3700 model stands out with its rugged design, built to withstand the rigors of heavy use. It features a strong metal housing that not only provides durability but also helps reduce handling noise, ensuring that every performance is captured cleanly. The microphone’s high output level allows for seamless integration with various sound systems, making it a versatile choice for different settings, from intimate venues to large auditoriums.

The 3700S version shares many characteristics with the 3700, but it comes equipped with a built-in shock mount, providing even greater isolation from vibrations and handling noise. This feature enhances the microphone's performance by allowing for greater freedom of movement without compromising audio integrity.

Both microphones utilize AKG’s advanced diaphragm technology. This innovation ensures accurate sound reproduction across a wide frequency range, making them suitable for various applications, including vocals, instruments, and spoken word performances.
