5While LEARN continues to flash, point the two remote controls toward each other. Press the button on the other remote control corresponding to the operation you want to program.

After the process is complete and the command has been learned, OK will appear in the remote control display. If NG (no good) appears, it means that for some reason the command was not learned. In this case, repeat steps 4 and 5.

CONTINUE? appears in the remote's display. If SELECT KEY is flashing go back to step 4.

6If you want to program in more commands use the 5∞ buttons to

select YES. Press ENTER.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 to teach the remote control of the VSX-45TX all the commands from the other remote control.

If there isn't enough capacity, an in- correct signal has been sent or, in some cases, the command from an- other remote control simply cannot be learned, NG (no good) will appear in the display in step 5.

In some NG cases the remotes just need to be moved closer together or farther apart.

7If you want to program in commands for another MULTI CONTROL button use the 5∞ buttons to select NO. Press ENTER.

8Repeat the process from step 2 for

all of your components.

Start again to program other components in this manner.

9When you're done use the 5∞

buttons to select EXIT.

You will return to the REMOTE SETUP menu.

10 Select EXIT and press ENTER.
